Commands
|
PNT uses a set of total of 37 commands to control call flows. They
can be divided into the following groups:
Basic telephony – Make call, Receive a call, Wait call, etc.
Media commands – Play a file, Record a file, Play Touchtone, Collect DTMFs, etc.
Utility commands – Create a variable, Change a variable, Add, Subtract, etc.
Messaging Commands – Send a message to a channel, Receive a message, Wait for a message.
Parallel execution of parts of call flow – Create a thread, Terminate a thread
Database access commands – Execute a DB procedure (available on Windows and Linux
using windows based ODBC gateway, available as a part of the package).
Synchronization commands – Sync – synchronize all channels to a particular point
in a call flow – for simulation of burst calling.
Timer commands – Start timer, Stop timer.
Fax commands – Send Fax, Receive Fax
Conferencing commands – Start conference, Add channel to a conference, Remove
channel from a conference, Stop conference, etc.
